Name PR is looking to hire a Press Assistant – a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, switched on individual to develop their communication skills and knowledge of the music business. This person will work across our music trade PR division; activities will include press and industry research, client admin, contacting journalists and writing press releases. We are a close-knit team looking for an ambitious individual who likes a challenge and is eager to get stuck in.

Name PR is one of the world’s leading music industry communications consultancies, with clients including Twickets, Merlin, Eventbrite, FUGA and Proper Music Group, as well as ad hoc projects for companies like Rough Trade Publishing and festivals like 51st State. Based in London, we address industry issues such as ticket touting and work on some of the most important developments in the global music and technology space.

Required Skills
– Exceptional writing skills
– Attention to detail, reliability, enthusiasm and creativity are essential
– Excellent organisational skills – you’ll constantly juggle conflicting client priorities
– Strong communication skills with a confident phone manner
– Good analysis and critical appraisal skills

The role is permanent, full time (and full on!).
Salary: Competitive
Location: Northwick Park, London – 16 minutes from Baker Street on the Metropolitan line.
