London, 12 April 2017:- Grammy-award winning saxophonist Kenny Garrett is set to bring his quintet to this year’s standout line-up at Ealing Jazz Festival, along with British ensemble Mammal Hands.

The Kenny Garrett Quintet is led by Garrett – an artist whose prolific career spans 11 albums and numerous Grammy nominations. Over the years he has collaborated with artists such as Sting, Q-Tip and Herbie Hancock, and Ealing Jazz Festival will be the quintet’s only summer festival appearance of 2017.

The line-up continues with cutting-edge Jazz trio Mammal Hands, known for their electric performances informed by jazz, electronic music patterns and world music influences. Supported by Bonobo, Jamie Cullum and tastemaker Gilles Peterson, the band continue to make waves in the world of contemporary jazz and are set to perform material from their critically-acclaimed albums ‘Animalia’ and ‘Floa’. They will be joined by rising jazz guitarist Remi Harris as well as Vento Em Madeira, Robert Mitchell & Masumi Endo, Leo Power, Laurence Jepson and the Paul Carmichael Band.

Ealing Jazz Festival is a staple in the jazz calendar, drawing thousands of jazz fans to Ealing’s Walpole Park each year.
