New Report Shines Light On Future Of Free Events
A new report offering insight into the opportunities and challenges facing organisers of free festivals and events has been released today by leading global event technology platform, Eventbrite.
The report was drawn from a roundtable discussion that brought together leading professionals from across the sector to examine the viability of free and public events in the UK in 2016 and beyond. Participants included including Notting Hill Carnival, Swn Festival, Green Man, Southbank Centre, TfL, Pride in London, St John’s Ambulance, Royal Parks, Association of Independent Festivals and London Lumiere Festival organisers, Artichoke Productions.
Hosted by Eventbrite’s Marino Fresch and moderated by co-founder of The Word magazine, Andrew Harrison, the roundtable took place in April as part of Eventbrite’s FREE campaign, which shed light on the important role free events have in our culture and communities.
