Strictly Confidential UK Signs Andy Burrows for Exclusive Global Publishing Agreement

  •      Projects include new solo album on Play It Again Sam
  •      New Single ‘Keep On Moving On’ to be released 18th June

7th June 2012 – Strictly Confidential UK has signed former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows to an exclusive global publishing agreement.

The artist, known for his global hits ‘America’ and ‘Before I Fall To Pieces’, which he co-wrote during his time with Razorlight, left the band in 2009.  He released his debut solo album ‘I Am Arrows’ and went on to join We Are Scientists, which he continues to be a member of.

The deal comes at a time when Andy once again turns his focus to his solo career. He has signed to the Play It Again Sam label for his sophomore solo album, with lead single ‘Keep On Moving On’ to be released 18th June.

The future holds many more projects for Burrows, who also released ‘Funny Looking Angels’ in 2011, as a member of Smith&Burrows. Recorded with Tom Smith from Editors, the album was a collection of winter songs.

Burrows joins a roster of Strictly Confidential artists including Editors, Tom Smith, Carl Barat, Liz Green, The Heartbreaks and many more.

Said Pierre Mossiat, CEO of Strictly Confidential,: “We’re very, very  happy to work with an internationally acclaimed artist with Andy Burrows’ level of talent – he’s a unique songwriter who has an incredible future before him. His new songs are among the best he has ever written. We are absolutely thrilled to see Andy join the Strictly Confidential family.
